Hoey, Niphatsophon win Junior World titles

Rico Hoey of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., narrowly won the Callaway Junior World Championship on Friday, edging runner-up Beau Hossler by a single stroke.

U.S. Open: Hossler, 17, qualifies for 2nd straight year Junior notebook: Beau Hossler will be making his second appearance in the U.S. Open - at the tender age of 17 - after a T-2 finish at the Daly City, Calif. sectional on Monday.
Hossler rallies, Barrett falters at U.S. Junior Amateur While Beau Hossler seemingly locked up a spot in the U.S. Junior Amateur match play bracket with a 1-under 71, defending runner-up Chelso Barrett did the opposite, shooting 4 over Tuesday.
